Data Center Operations

Our Data Center is designed with redundancy in mind. Layer 8's premier data center space operates with uptime in mind; with redundant internet connections, redundant power feeds, redundant generators, and multiple power circuits per rack. Layer 8 uses name brand equipment for both networking and servers, and maintains support contracts on all equipment. All servers operate at least with RAID 1 Hard Drive mirroring for data redundancy. Backups are performed nightly, and all Layer 8 servers are monitored by a state of the art monitoring solution hosted offsite at another Layer 8 site.
